RULES & REGULATIONS
RULE #1 PRACTICING MUSLIMS ONLY
In order to reach our goal of uniting brothers in Islam, this tournament, is strictly for practicing muslim’s only. Any non-muslim or non-practicing muslim will not be able to participate in the event. Review our detailed requirements on the registration form.
RULE #2 NO FIGHTING
We understand that basketball is an intense and competitive sport but we will not allow fighting of any kind. At the end of the day we are all brothers in Islam and require everyone to treat others with respect and dignity. Review the penalties and consequences on the official registration form!
RULE #3 GAMEPLAY
There will be four 8 minute Quarters with 1 minute break between each quarter. Time STOPS every dead ball, unless Team is up 20+ points. There is a 30 second shot clock for the last 2 minutes of the 4th quarter and there will be two timeouts per half.
If there is a tie at the end of regulation overtime will be played for 2 minutes. For double overtime and onward it will be 1 minute per until a winner is declared.
There are 5 Fouls Per Player and 2 Technical Fouls Per Player. There are 7 Team Fouls Per Half for One-On-One and then 10 Team Fouls Per Half for 2 Free-throws.

RULE #4 STANDINGS AND FORMAT
There will be a total of 12 teams divided into 4 blocks. Each team will play every team in their specific block and the top 2 teams per group will advance to playoffs. Playoffs will proceed as single elimination structure until a champion is crowned! Every team is guaranteed to play 2 games minimum.
